The Annual Journal of the Diocesan Archive in Zielona Góra – Volume I
It is with great pleasure and joy that we have the honor to present the first volume of Adhibenda. Yearbook of the Diocesan Archives in Zielona Góra ”.
The author’s intention is to initiate a series that will systematically appear on the publishing market in the future.
The word adhibenda comes from the Latin verb adhibere: use, attract, apply, add, deal with something. In archival terminology, acta adhibenda is the file belonging to the case. The Latin name of our Yearbook indicates its purpose and task. The Yearbook’s intention is a modest contribution of the authors to the scientific achievements to date in the field of archival science. „Adhibenda” is intended for everyone, especially those who are interested in archives and archives as well as the history of the Church, art and region.
